Gerard Brussé - 12½ year anniversary
Gerard Brussé started in July 1997 working for COAS Software Systems. In his long career he implemented a number of systems and was involved in setting up COAS India in 1998. At that time we were one of the first companies to offshore their software development to India. COAS india is now rebranded as coMakeIt and has more then 100 employees working in India.
Gerard started at COAS in building flexible Delphi Client/Server systems. One of his first systems was a very generic reporting system and was used for more then ten years. Gerard is currently knowledge expert in chemical modeling and has implemented various mathematical models for taste and pH prediction in food products. These are currently implemented in a web environment using Oracle relational databases and Java. This helps our customer to do “Product development in Silico”.
Domien Bakker - 5 year anniversary
As of the first of January, Domien Bakker is employed for five years with COAS Software Systems. Domien has a brought range of skills and technologies. He delivered various applications for handhelds using the Microsoft .Net compact framework but also office applications using the Microsoft Office suite of tools. He is also experienced in web application and web service development using .Net and Java, including the Google Web Toolkit. In his latest project he integrated with a SAP NetWeaver XI hub to extract nutritional product information and store that into a SQL server database.
In his spare time he likes motor biking and scuba diving and has a black belt in Budokan.
